The latest RAW gave us another bunch of action-packed matches with more dramas and twists. This edition of Monday Night Raw on August 21, 2023, was shown live from the Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The night was filled with thrilling matches, jaw-dropping moments, and some explosive confrontations that will blow your mind at once!

The show started with the Montreal crowd's "Ole" chants for their hometown hero, Sami Zayn. But The Judgment Day members spoiled the moment. Zayn also had a surprise up his sleeve as Kevin Owens stormed the ring! Owens delivered a jaw-dropping Stunner to Damian Priest and cleared up the ring. Then Owens and Zayn issued a challenge to any two members of The Judgment Day for their main event fight. Although Damian Priest and Finn Balor defeated Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn by disqualification, soon The Judgment Day attacked Zayn and Owens. Thankfully, Cody Rhodes made the save again and defeated Damian Priest, Finn Balor along with Dominik Mysterio!

Way before their match, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day squared off against Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle. Then, Erik of The Viking Raiders made the match even more dramatic by preventing Drew McIntyre from tagging in! Although Kofi won this match with a Trouble in Paradise on Riddle, The Viking Raiders launched a post-match assault on the winning team. But McIntyre took his revenge by going back into the ring and clearing them altogether. 

Next, the highly anticipated Intercontinental Title match took place between Chad Gable and the formidable GUNTHER. Well, Chad Gable did his best to snatch away GUNTHER’s title, but he could not! Despite Gable's hard-fought efforts, the match ended in a count-out and GUINTHER retained his title anyhow. But Gable also made history by becoming the first WWE Superstar to defeat GUNTHER in a singles match! 

After that, Shinsuke Nakamura took the stage and revealed what he whispered to Seth Rollins last time. He whispered to Seth that he knows about his back pain and vowed to target it in their upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Payback on September 2nd! This is surely an open war to Seth Rollins and this is the reason Seth Rollins seemed too angry with Shinsuke last time.

In the next match, Rhea Ripley faced off against Candice LeRae in a short but intense match. Rhea won the match via submission. But Raquel did not let Rhea go easily. She attacked Rhea after the match and hints at a vicious revenge plan she made for their Women's World Title showdown at Payback!

Another star Akira Tozawa won against The Miz! This surprised everyone in the audience. But the mishap happened when The Miz was staring down LA Knight. After Akira rolled up Miz to win, Knight also came into the ring and delivered a BFT to The Miz.

Another exciting promo took place between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus which clearly spoke about what may happen in their Steel Cage Match at WWE Payback. Both seemed optimistic about their power in their next face-off. Becky Lynch also revealed her next face-off with Joey Stark in a Falls Count Anywhere Match on Monday Night RAW. 

The rest of the matches saw Piper Niven and Chelsea Green defeating Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. Let’s see what happened in the next RAW and how things get unfolded for the upcoming Payback event.
