Vince McMohon officially stepped down.

The era of Vince McMahon is going to officially end. On Monday Night RAW at the Norfolk Scope in Virginia, it was his last day as a professional wrestler. It’s really disappointing news as he has been one of the best wrestlers for decades. Last week, WWE and Endeavor in a press conference announced that they would be bringing the wrestling company and the UFC together.

On the switching McMahon's statement was, Given the incredible work that Ari [Ariel Emanuel, CEO of Endeavor] and Endeavor have done to grow the UFC brand – nearly doubling its revenue over the past seven years – and the immense success we’ve already had in partnering with their team on a number of ventures, I believe that this is without a doubt the best outcome for our shareholders and other stakeholders. Together, we will be a $21+ billion live sports and entertainment powerhouse with a collective fanbase of more than a billion people and an exciting growth opportunity.”

Before this last year in July, McMahon announced his retirement from his position in WWE because of many allegations regarding sexual misconduct. He returned to his position later to watch the wrestling promotion of the company.

But this time he's truly leaving the company. Let's wish him luck.
