My Dearest suppresses The Uncanny Counter 2 in the highest rating

MBC's "My Dearest" peaked at the highest position in rating where it crossed "The Uncanny Counter 2" unexpectedly.

My Dearest is an ongoing South Korean television series based on a historical plot which started from August 4. Because of the starcast and storyline it gathers quite a huge response. On the other hand, after the success of "Uncanny Counter" season one, everyone eagerly waited for season two. So without any doubt it should get a huge response from the audience.

But On August 19, "My Dearest" received the highest views of all time in its sixth episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest broadcast of "My Dearest" gathers an average rating of 8.8 by suppressing all the records of any other dramas till date. "My Dearest" is also the most watched k-drama for which it increases the rating of 3.3 from the first episode.

SBS's "The First Responders 2" which telecasted on the same day got a rating of 6.1 percent. On the other hand tVn's most awaited series "The Uncanny Counter 2" decreased almost 3.8 percent on average. Thus It's the lowest rating of this series.

"My Dearest" is a historical romantic drama. If we talk about the storyline It's the story of A man with a deep and dark secret vows not to marry anyone, after a tragic event happened to him. He meets a woman, who wishes to fall in love again, despite being married before. If the two hearts can come closer, that's what the audience are eagerly waiting to see.
