Perhaps no wrestler is
quite as outrageous as the Rikishi. His massive, barrel-shaped body is famous
for his unique style of wrestling, which involves a lot of body slamming, hip
thrusting, and stink-facing. Over the years, the Rikishi have provided fans with
some of the most memorable and hilarious moments in WWE history. Here are 10 of
the funniest and most OMG moments involving Rikishi in the WWE…
1.
Ms. Rikishi’s Stinkface:
Back
in Unforgiven 2002 Wrestle Alive, something very funny happened in front of the
audience. The story started when Eric Bischoff attacked Stephanie McMahon with
two girls. The plot was really entertaining from the very beginning. Bischoff
threw those girls on Stephanie to kiss and lure her, making the event a lesbian one. Stephanie
was being punished with those flirty girls. Then Bischoff sent them away and
called another woman. But this woman was none other than Rikishi! Rikishi
dressed up as a woman and started luring Stephanie which gave her the real
threat. But suddenly he changed his team and started his feud with Bischoff
giving him his iconic Stinkface. All of their performances really entertained
everyone that day.
2.
John Cena vs Rikishi:
Rikishi’s
Stinkface performances have always been one of the funniest moves in WWE history. One
such event happened back in the 2002 Smackdown
show when Rikishi faced John Cena. That time John Cena was called the babyface
of WWE. First Rikishi indicated that he is really going to finish John with his
Stinkface move. Then when John tried to capture Rikishi, his hands couldn’t
even reach Rikishi’s big fat belly! By the end of the match Rikishi did his
funny stinkface move on John Cena which almost left him disgusted. With the
same move he finally defeated John Cena. By the end of the match, he did some
dance as well to give his fans a wholesome experience.
3.
Rikishi vs Val Venis:
It
was one of the best fights of Steel Cage Match which took place back in 2000’s
Fully Loaded match. Rikishi was 400 pounds back then when he fought with Val
Venis in that cage fight. It was quite impossible for any wrestler to defeat
this legend easily. So, when he defeated Val Venis, it was not surprising at
all. But the best move was Rikishi’s high jump from the cage! Nobody imagined
the legend would jump off from the high cage with his 400 pounds body.
Everyone was thrilled and even shouted at him not to do this crazy move! But
Rikishi moved up to the cage’s peak, aimed at the right spot and jumped right
at him to everyone’s utter surprise.
4.
Rikishi vs Heath Slater:
From
2006, Heath Slater has been pretty famous in WWE after his debut in the
company. He has always performed fiercely with his opponents with style. His
long hair and bold character as Heath defeated his opponents many times. But it
was during the Monday Night RAW 2012 when Heath’s grace was totally uprooted by
Rikishi. Rikishi did not spare Heath Slater at all which entertained the
audience throughout the match. Rikishi gave his iconic stinkface here as well
and defeated Slater perfectly. In the end, Rikishi’s dance with Usos added more
fun to the whole performance.
5.
Kissing Ass:
It
would be WWE’s one of the funniest moments ever. The feud was between The Rock
and Vince McMahon when The Rock had the upper hand in it. Vince was in his
usual victim character who was doing everything The Rock ordered him to do. So, The
Rock once decided to make him kiss someone’s ass. There was Vince Russo right
at that moment. Obviously, the audience
thought Vince had to kiss Vince Russo. But Rock changes his mind and calls for
Trish Stratus. It made McMahon quite happy as he wanted to kiss Trish. But
again, Rock changes his mind. This time, McMahon gets totally lost seeing
Rikishi on the line! He had to kiss Rikishi’s
ass out of all people which makes this whole event crazier!
6.
Dared to Prevent Stinkface:
Wrestlers
have experienced Rikishi's Stinkface over time, but only a handful have managed
to figure out a way to protect themselves from the unpleasant move. Mr. Perfect
is one of those who found a way to avoid Rikishi's famous attack! In a six-man
tag team match on Sunday Night Heat before WrestleMania 18, Mr. Perfect teamed
up with Lance Storm and Test to take on Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty, and Albert.
During the match, Rikishi attempted to give Mr. Perfect a Stinkface. But the
funniest thing happened when he quickly improvised and held a towel in front of
his face as Rikishi performed the move. The audience found it crazy when they
saw the towel wedged between Rikishi's buttocks.
7.
Feud with Lita-Hardy Couple:
In early 2001 SmackDown, WWE incorporated Lita's actual
romance with Matt Hardy into her storyline along with The Hardy Boys. During
that time, Hardy and Lita shared an on-screen kiss to show their relationship. However, when Lita
refused to repeat the kiss, it resulted in receiving a severe punishment from
WWE officials. They arranged for Rikishi to
give her a Stinkface. Lita tried to rescue Jeff Hardy from Rikishi, but ended
up in the position that Rikishi intended for her. She was forced to endure the
unpleasant fate until Matt Hardy came out and rescued her by pulling her out of
the ring.
8. One of the
Longest Stinkface:
During a RAW episode of 2000, Trish Stratus was put in a
very uncomfortable situation when she received a Stinkface from Rikishi! This
occurred during a six-man tag team match where Rikishi and 2-Cool faced off
against Test, Albert, and Val Venis. Even though Rikishi and 2-Cool lost the
match, they attacked their opponents after it was over. Trish Stratus actually
attempted to intervene when Rikishi had Val Venis cornered, but she ended up in
the same position and received a prolonged and unpleasant Stinkface from
Rikishi. Rikishi's large behind completely covered Trish Stratus's face during
the move, which became one of the longest Stinkfaces ever delivered!
9. Leaving Vince
in a Shock:
In an episode of Monday night Raw, Rikishi changed sides and
went against the McMahons after Mick Foley convinced him. Later that same
night, Rikishi faced Stone Cold Steve Austin in a match with Vince and Stephanie
McMahon supporting Austin. Despite the McMahons' assistance, Austin had the
upper hand and emerged victorious. However, after the match, the villains
attempted to attack Rikishi, but Mick Foley returned to the ring and drove away
Vince McMahon and Austin. Unfortunately, they left Stephanie McMahon alone! As
a result, Stephanie faced a brutal Stinkface from Rikishi, causing Vince
McMahon to watch in shock.
10.
Weird Rico:
While many victims of Rikishi's Stinkface were unwilling, one WWE superstar was curious to receive the move! During a match on SmackDown 2004, Rikishi teamed up with Scotty 2 Hotty to take on Charlie Haas and Rico. When Rikishi was preparing to perform the Stinkface on Haas, Rico, playing a stylist with a flamboyant personality, asked Rikishi to do it to him instead! Rico even applied lipstick and begged for the move! Of course, Rikishi happily did that.
