WWE Payback 2023 is just around the corner and is set to grace the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 2, 2023. This anticipated event marks the return of Payback after a hiatus since 2020 when WWE was still in the ThunderDome. Now that the event is official, fans are excited to know the details of its match card which is still largely under wraps. But we got some exciting official and unofficial news on its match card which we will reveal in this video…

So far, there has been a huge announcement for a Steel Cage Match featuring two legendary competitors - Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus. Although Zoey Stark and other wrestlers often interfered in their feud, this time, WWE is determined to put an end to the chaos and ensure a fair contest. This time, WWE's Adam Pearce has decided to confine Lynch and Stratus within the unforgiving steel cage. This stage is set for a fierce battle between these long-time enemies and fans can't wait to see their climax this time.

On the other hand, Seth Rollins has accepted Shinsuke Nakamura's challenge for a World Heavyweight Championship match. While WWE has yet to confirm if this clash will take place at Payback, all signs point in that direction. Rollins' recent heel turn and Nakamura's resurgence have added more possibilities to this scenario. 

Adding to the list, The Judgment Day has been also featured in the event's promotions. Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn, who have been entangled with The Judgment Day, could play a pivotal role in the upcoming Payback event as well. On the other hand, there's one notable absence from the Payback lineup – Roman Reigns. WWE has not advertised his role yet in its promotions of Payback which means, the Bloodline War may not get featured in this event!
