Red Velvet member Joy has been a victim of very rude behavior of a staff member of SBS. On August 16,2023 a video has been circulated on social media where this talented singer seems to be being screamed at by a parking guard.When the video got posted the fans got furious at the Guard and raised their voice Over the mistreatment of an artist.

The fans took the platform Twitter as a weapon to protest for such an insult. They demand a proper apology from SBS to Joy. Hashtags #SBSRespectJoy with the message "SBS APOLOGY TO JOY" is trending right now.

The incident happened when Joy came to the SBS studio for the shooting of her film "Animal Farm". She was clicking some pictures with her fans at the parking area. At the moment the staff starts shouting by saying, "Why are you going out that way? Move! Go back! Go back inside! Move!" In the video it seems clear that Joy got scared at his behavior. This makes the fans really upset. They showed their anger on Twitter as they found the behavior of the staff too rude and disrespectful.

Later on the staff came to apologize to Joy. He clarified the whole thing by saying that maybe his voice tone was high and his words were harsh but it was all because of the idol's safety purpose.He also added that he was doing his job by protecting the idol from the rush of the fan. He apologizes to Joy and the fans for his unnecessary behavior.

Besides his apology, the fans think that if he was concerned about Joy's safety he could handle it in a humble way. As a staff member it's his duty to be polite all the time towards his guests no matter what. That's why they are asking for an apology from SBS.

Joy is a South Korean singer, actress, and tv presenter. She debuted in 2014 as a member of Red Velvet. Right now she's busy with the shooting of her upcoming film "Animal Farm".
