Recent reports indicate that Kevin Owens is scheduled for a dark match during this week's SmackDown event in Toronto! This internal listing for his return has raised hopes among fans who have missed seeing Owens in important matches like SummerSlam. His last match was held back in May when he and Sami Zayn won the WWE Tag Team Championships in the main event of WrestleMania. But because of his rib injury, there was no tag title defense at the SummerSlam pay-per-view event. 

As the WWE gears up for the upcoming Payback, Kevin Owens' return couldn't come at a better time than this! It is reported that Kevin has recovered well and is ready to defend their undisputed tag team championship in the upcoming events. With Payback coming in this scenario, Kevin and Sam Zayn’s pair will definitely bring more twists to the matches. Alongside, he was also involved in the ongoing Bloodline War. So, it is possible that he will return to his role in Roman Reign’s and The Uso’s feud once again with added twists on the go.
