In the recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Jey Uso proved to everyone that he is capable enough to beat his cousin Roman Reigns. The member of The Usos won in a hard-fought battle against Solo Sikoa on the August 4 episode. When WWE SummerSlam is just around the corner, this victory is proof that his rivalry with Reigns will not be a dull one, in fact, as he can beat Solo Sikoa, it’s a threat to Roman Reigns.

The recent event saw Jey Uso face his younger brother Solo Sikoa in a dramatic match where these two family members put everything on the line. Interestingly, Jey Uso secured this win by employing Roman Reigns' signature Spear that left Solo down and out! But Jey did not end the assault just there. He delivered another steel chair attack on Solo Sikoa after the bell and injured him enough for the next match. His wrath was shown in the match which says he will surely take revenge for his brother by any means! 

After the victory, Jey Uso opened up in the SmackDown Exclusive interview about the emotional turmoil of fighting his family in front of a global audience. He agreed that this is an overwhelming pressure on him to fight the Undisputed Champion, but he would bring his passion and the spirit of his entire family into the ring to face Roman Reigns at the Biggest Party of the Summer. In fact, he confidently referred to himself as the "new Tribal Chief” as he was that much determined to dethrone the current holder of that title! 

The rivalry between Jey Uso and Roman Reigns has been the talk of the town this year. Uso's determination to prove himself and challenge the authority of his cousin has reflected in his actions. On the other hand, it seems like Jey Uso’s son does not believe in Jey but in the current Tribal Chief! Recently his son made a prediction that Reigns would win this match instead of his father.

When his son predicted his defeat against Roman Reigns, history says Jey Uso have a big chance of winning the SummerSlam match against Reigns. Last time, he teamed up with his brother Jimmy Uso and defeated WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns at 2023 WWE Money in the Bank in London, England. On the other hand, Roman Reigns will not take this abuse too. He has held the title for more than 1000 days now and is all set to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against his cousin-turned-rival Jey Uso.
