Internet is blowing up with the unfortunate news of FT Islands's Choi Min-hwan and LABOUM's Yulhee. The loving couple is getting a divorce after 1 year of dating and 5 years of marriage. Both the celebrities posted on their social media recently and confirmed the news. They revealed that they have decided to part ways and shared their genuine feelings about the divorce. With the sentimental statement, their friends and fans have showed their utmost respect and support at the comment section. 

Yulhee is a media personality and a former member of the girl group LABOUM. On the other hand, Choi Min Hwan is a multi-talented musician and the youngest member of the rock band F.T. Island. They both belong to a similar background of career which led them to become a real-life couple. The couple dated for a while and confirmed their relationship in 2017 publicly. They got married shortly after dating for a year. Not to mention, they both were at the prime of their career and too young to get married. However, they announced their wedding in the month if October in 2018 in a private ceremony. They shared their adorable moments with the fans on social media and they looked so happy! It is a matter of sorrow, the loving couple had to part their ways. They embraced their parenthood with the birth of a son named Jaeyul at the end of 2018 and in 2020, they welcomed twin baby girls, Ahyoon and Arin. Regarding the custody of the children, yulhee stated that they will be living with their father as it was best for them to stay in the place where they have been living to accommodate realistic issues and minimize psychological distress. At the end of the statement, Yulhee hoped for the warm understanding of her fans.

Their Agency, FNC Entertainment confirmed the news saying, “Choi Minhwan and Kim Yulhee have decided to get divorce after long deliberations and are currently in the divorce process”. They also said that Minhwa will get the custody of their children making sure they get the best care possible.

Sure fact, the couple were too young to make a heisty decision at the very beginning of their marriage. Given the fact how, Yulhee was pregnant before marriage and Minhwa had to serve in the military soon after the pregnancy. It wasn’t easy for the couple to start a family. However, we hope they co-parent the children together and make the best decision.
