It’s heartbreaking news for the Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus fans as their highly anticipated face-off is not going to take place in the upcoming SummerSlam. Until now, fans were eagerly waiting for this clash of Women's Champions. But to everyone’s disappointment, it has been announced on the go-home show that the match has been pulled from the SummerSlam card! The decision to remove the Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus match from WWE SummerSlam is getting a mixed reaction from fans and the Superstars themselves. As per reports, WWE officials are trying to limit the number of matches and overall runtime for their Premium Live Events (PLE). As a result, many matches that were initially enlisted for SummerSlam have been shifted to other TV programming before or after the PLE.

Insider reports suggest, if the Lynch vs. Stratus match had taken place at SummerSlam, it would have been time-consuming and would cross the time limitations. Apparently, WWE didn't want to compromise the quality of this highly anticipated match by rushing it within the time constraints of the event! Thus, WWE took the decision to schedule this match for an upcoming RAW episode instead of SummerSlam. 

Regarding fans’ concerns over their injuries and health issues, it is reported that both Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus have been confirmed to be healthy and available for in-ring competition. So, their health is not the reason for this match elimination. However, neither Becky nor Trish is happy about not being part of the prestigious SummerSlam card. Their disappointment is evident on social media. 

Becky Lynch, popularly known as "The Man," has had a remarkable career in WWE and has secured a place as one of the all-time greats. She replaced Sasha Banks and defeated Bianca Belair in just 26 seconds to become a 6-time Women's Champion back in the SummerSlam 2021. This SummerSlam could be another record-breaking event for The Man which has been snatched away from her. 

Amongst all the bad news, fans can look forward to their upcoming match. WWE has officially announced Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus for the August 11th episode of RAW which will take place in Stratus' home country of Canada. It's adding extra significance to this long-awaited encounter as fans are wondering if Trish will defeat Becky in her home country or not. Instead of removing their match, it’s a good thing that WWE only shifted this face-off to a regular event like RAW. 

In just one week, Becky will get to take on Trish Stratus on RAW after losing to Stratus at WWE’s Night of Champions. It's possible that Zoey Stark will again interfere in their game being on Trish’s side. Let’s see, who gets to smile in the end.
