Last night, WWE fans saw another bunch of thrilling face-offs in the latest episode of NXT that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. From some explosive matches to heated promos, the superstars of NXT left no stone unturned to surprise the audience! 

The night kicked off with an exclusive NXT Tag Team Title match where NXT stable The Dyad clashed with the reigning champions, The Family. After the heated encounter between Rip Fowler, Jagger Reid, Ava from The Dyad, and Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo from The Family, the latter team managed to retain their titles.

On the same night, NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes was seen signing merchandise backstage. But Wes Lee confronted him and questioned why he never received his calls but did this instead of attending the match. But Hayes answered that Wes Lee should worry about his own match with Dijak. Then Lee challenged Hayes that if he wins the match, Hayes will have to worry about their next Heatwave match. Eventually Wes Lee won the match against Dijak and Hayes had to sign the contract to make this Heatwave match official.

On the other hand, Blair Davenport made a commanding entrance to the ring to face Dana Brooke. And backstage, Andre Chase attempts to help Thea Hail to regain her momentum in a match with Jacy Jayne that didn’t quite work out because of Duke Hudson and Hail herself. In the ring, Dana Brooke unleashed her aggressive side against Davenport, but Davenport turned the tables with a powerful double stomp! The end came with Blair Davenport's knee-strike finisher that sealed her victory. 

After this exciting match ended, Von Wagner confronted Baron Corbin in a backstage scene to challenge him to a match next week. When their match is set for next week, Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey prepared themselves to face Trick Williams. Trick delivered Gulak an aerial shot but he defended it and attempted a roll-up for a near fall. Then Trick again attacked with a flying forearm and a remarkable right hand that drove Gulak to the mat. Trick was again disrupted by Kemp and Dempsey, but he fought back with a powerful Uranage slam! Soon he made it obvious who is the boss by winning this face-off.

In another match of the night, Joe Coffey made his entrance to interrupt Tyler Bate’s match. But Bate overcame this interference by unleashing his signature moves- corkscrew uppercut, Star Press, and Exploder suplex. Although Joe kicked out, Bate again hit a Michinoku Driver and got a big German suplex for 2 in return. With many more signature moves and punches, Tyler Bate won by disqualification.

After another commercial Thea Hail, Andre Chase, and Duke Hudson faced off against Jacy Jayne where Jacy seized control with her neckbreaker and senton moves. Despite Hail's efforts, Jayne's strategy led her to win this match in the end. After Jayne departed, Hail let out her frustration at Chase. 

As the NXT superstars gear up for the upcoming Heatwave event, the latest NXT night on 15th August gave us some intense confrontations that hinted at even more promising face-offs in the next events. What do you think about the ongoing NXT chaos? Comment to us below…
