BTS member Jungkook, releases a statement as an apology for the live performance he did, on the streets of New York city. Despite his apology, fans reassured him saying it was an amazing show.

Jungkook has been on a roll this year! He made several hit albums that not only gained success in Korea but internationally. When the most popular K-Pop boy band BTS disbanded, it was a hard time for the fans to not see their favourite band for a long time. But the member's back-to-back solo albums made it easier for them. Amongst them, the “The Golden Maknae” of the group, Jungkook really hit it off, surprising his fans with several outstanding songs. After his successful team-ups with American rappers Latto and Jack Harlow, the youngest BTS member is preparing to launch his debut solo album, featuring exclusive English tracks.

His 1st solo album “Golden” released this November with songs like “3D” “Please Don't Change” and “Standing Next To You”. He released his debut solo album featuring collaborations with top Western artists which gave him a way to connect with international fans. This album presents an impressive collection of 11 tracks and collaborations with prominent artists like Shawn Mendes, DJ Snake, Ed Sheeran, Major Lazer, and others.

Jung Kook has been honoured with a platinum certification which is a system of certifying that a music recording has shipped, sold, or streamed a certain number of units. Platinum means an album has shipped over 1,000,000 copies. Jung Kook’s solo single "Seven" signified sales of over a million units. He had his gold certification for "Left and Right," which was a collaboration with Charlie Puth gaining an immense popularity in the American music sphere.

All the international recognition allowed him to make a solo international tour this month. He is scheduled to make live performances in the most popular cities. Starting off with New York, Jung Kook made a live performance in front of the New York morning show's studios. The streets were packed with armies for several blocks. He performed his tracks "Standing Next to You", "3D", and "Seven" in the freezing weather.

But the performance didn’t seem to satisfy Jungkook. He made an apology as the acoustics didn’t work well in the freezing weather. It was poor compared to his indoor performances. Jungkook expressed

"ARMY, I'm sorry. I messed up the live. I don't have any excuses. I'll try to do better for my next live performance!"

The fans disagreed with him saying the performance was amazing and tried to comfort him. Well, we know how much an imbalanced performance can affect “the perfectionist” Jung Kook.  BTS is known to deliver the most outstanding performances on stage. We can feel why he became upset when it didn’t turn out as he expected.
However, he is soon going to surprise fans with another outstanding show. He will be performing a live concert for “Audacy Live” on November 13th! Fans are eagerly waiting for his next show. We hope he delivers the best as he always does.
