Descendants of the Sun has been one of the most popular K-dramas of all time that gained worldwide recognition as well as bagged numerous awards for its actors. The drama was a high budgeted one with star-studded casts like Song Hye Kyo, Song Joong Ki, Jin Goo and Kim Ji Won. Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki’s Doctor-Soldier pair won hearts of many fans worldwide. Especially after this pair announced their real-life relationship and married in the media, their on-screen romance became even more famous. 1. Song Joong-ki as Captain Yoo Si-jin:

Song Joong Ki is one of the highest paid and most sought after actors from South Korea who works under the High Zium studio. He gained recognition from the historical drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal. 4. Kim Ji-won as First Lieutenant Yoon Myung-ju:

9. Jo Woo-ri as Jang Hee-eun:

Jo Woo Ri is a rising South Korean actress who debuted as an actress with the drama The Clinic for Married Couples and Real School in 2011. Her noteworthy dramas are- My ID Is Gangnam Beauty, Eulachacha Waikiki, Will Be Okay, Never Die, To All The Guys Who Loved Me etc.

10. Hyun Jyu-ni as Pyo Ji-soo:
