As BLACKPINK's contract has expired this year so the fans and the agency are in a dilemma whether the girls will continue their contract with them or not. Regarding this YG Entertainment has shared a statement of BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s contract renewal discussions. 

Since July YG Entertainment has been saying that they are facing difficulties in the discussion of contract renewal.  Because of BLACKPINK’s tour and Lisa’s individual activities, the contract renewals were still under discussion.

In July, a Chinese agency claimed that Lisa’s contract renewal with YG was uncertain. This news made a noise among the fans. Since then the speculation has started and is still going on. There has also been speculation that Lisa is not willing to pair up with YG Entertainment anymore because she's getting other proposals from many agencies. 

On September 15, YG Entertainment stated in the contract renewal discussion that, “Lisa’s contract renewal is currently under discussion. There is nothing in those rumors that has been confirmed".

Without any official confirmation the speculation will be going on. Since last October, BLACKPINK girls have been busy with their concerts for their “BORN PINK” world tour in 34 cities around the world.  The finale of their concert “BORN PINK Finale in Seoul,” is scheduled for September 16 and 17 at Gocheok Sky Dome, BLACKPINK's BORNPINK Tour already has broken many records and they have been appreciated by fans because it's the first female K-pop artist to hold a concert at the venue.
